Lejla is a Montenegrin-Canadian artist whose work is deeply informed by her academic background in Art History and her Balkan identity. Her fascination with intricate detail, which began during her master studies at UofT, has found tangible expression in her textile art.
Lejla incorporates detail work through knitting, embroidering, and painting to produce art that blends traditional craft with contemporary vision (jewelry).
Beyond her creative work, Lejla is building a career in educational programming and arts marketing, where she continues to share her passion for culture and creativity
