Sucharita Maitra

Sucharita Maitra’s work career spans progressive roles in finance and management in multinational companies such as Unilever, Mothercare and Edward Jones in international locations such as India, Dubai, USA, and Canada. Her teaching career includes the role of Professor of Business at Higher Colleges of Technology, Dubai and Sheridan College, Mississauga. She is a professionally qualified accountant with an MBA from the University of Strathclyde, UK. After her last responsibility as a General Partner at Edward Jones Canada, she dove headfirst towards another passion of hers, painting. Her paintings have been juried into exhibitions of the Toronto Watercolour Society and Visual Arts Mississauga in addition to being displayed in studios in Vancouver, Dubai, and California. She paints out of her Mississauga studio “Such Fine Art.”
