Vira Tuhusheva
Artist name: Valkyrie Hild
Born in Ukraine and based in Canada since 2023, Vira Tuhusheva is a multidisciplinary artist with formal education in art education and interior design. She has extensive experience teaching art to both children and adults, as well as participating in exhibitions and plein air events across Europe.
Vira is fluent in Ukrainian, Russian, Polish, and English, which allows her to connect with diverse creative communities.
Working across multiple mediums, she specializes in oil, watercolor, and acrylic painting, while also exploring candle making, handcrafted textile art, macramé, epoxy resin, alcohol ink, quilling, and other mixed-media techniques. Art has always been a central part of her life — a constant source of inspiration and creative expression.
