Art in the Park is Visual Arts Mississauga’s free annual art market, celebrating creativity and community in the heart of Riverwood. This two-day festival features original, hand-crafted work by artists, live music, food vendors, and hands-on art workshops.

A long-standing event for over 40 years, Art in the Park continues to connect artists with the public and energize Mississauga’s vibrant arts scene.

Join us for a fun, free drop-in activity featuring a collaborative art installation perfect for visitors of all ages! Participants are invited to create their own unique stained glass inspired leaf to add to our growing group tree, forming a vibrant visual representation of our local community.

Art in the Park is a celebration of Mississauga’s creative spirit! Where visual art, music, and culture come together.

Enjoy a full day of live performances featuring talented local musicians, from acoustic sets to original performances that showcase the incredible sounds of Mississauga’s music scene. Presented with the support of Pearson Airport, our music lineup creates the perfect soundtrack for a weekend of art.

Yes! Art In the Park is free to the public. Donations are appreciated at the VAM table to continue hosting free events and supporting local artists.

Parking at VAM is limited and fills up quickly due to our location near the intersection of Burnhamthorpe Road West and The Credit Woodlands.

Additional parking is available at Erindale GO Station (Rathburn Road West at Creditview Road).

Bike racks are available in the main parking lot, located in front of the display board. We recommend carpooling whenever possible.

You can also travel sustainably and receive 20% off Bird electric scooters and e-bikes.

Yes, leashed dogs are welcome in the outdoor areas. Please be mindful of other visitors and clean up after your pet.

Pets are not allowed indoors of the VAM building.

Yes! Art in the Park is a public event, and visitors are welcome to take photos for personal use. We kindly ask that you respect the privacy of others by seeking permission before taking close-up photos of individuals or photographing artists in their booths.

If you’d like to use photos for commercial purposes or media coverage, please contact Visual Arts Mississauga in advance.

Art in the Park is a rain or shine event. Most artist booths are tented, and indoor areas may be used if needed. Dress for the weather.

We strive to make our events and spaces as accessible and welcoming as possible for everyone.

Pathways throughout the park are stroller- and wheelchair-accessible, and accessible parking and washrooms are available on-site.

If you require accommodations or have concerns, please contact us at info@visualartsmississauga.com in advance. We’re happy to work with you to help make your visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible

Cash is strongly encouraged as not all vendors have access to wireless payment systems. 

There is no ATM on-site, so we recommend bringing cash to ensure you don’t miss out on supporting your favourite artists

Vendor applications are closed for Art in the Park 2026. To be the first to hear about future artist and vendor calls, follow us on social media or subscribe to our newsletter. Applications are reviewed through a jury process by Visual Arts Mississauga’s Events and Exhibitions team.
