Anna is a Korean-Canadian self-taught artist from Brampton, specializing in resin abstract art and ceramics. She draws inspiration from her daily life, travels, and the beauty of nature, particularly aerial landscapes, marble, and crystals. Her intuitive approach to painting allows her to explore free-flowing forms and rich, vibrant colors, which also translate beautifully into the glazes of her ceramic pieces.
Anna’s journey with clay began during her first wheel-throwing class at the Toronto School of Art. She instantly fell in love with the meditative, yet playful process of working with clay, feeling a sense of freedom and creativity as she shaped each piece. Today, she shares that passion through teaching both wheel throwing and handbuilding. One of her greatest joys is watching her students develop their skills and fall in love with pottery, just as she did when she first started.
