Yasmin is a multi-disciplinary artist from Burlington, Ontario with a passion for storytelling and expressionism. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Art and Art History with specializations in Classical Civilizations and Visual Culture from the University of Toronto and a diploma from Sheridan College. Her main mediums are oil and acrylic paint, mixed-media sculpture, and ink and graphite; however, she loves to constantly try her hand at new mediums and techniques and is always open to learning something new!
Yasmin has a background in youth group counselling and being a camp instructor at VAM. She especially enjoys teaching children and teens, whose curiosity and passion to create are always so inspiring to see. Her favourite part of teaching art is helping students discover their own creative voice and seeing their confidence grow!
