Volunteer Opportunities

Beginner courses are designed for students who have never taken an art class or are new to making art or to a specific medium (acrylic, oil, watercolour, pastel). Beginner courses provide students with essential skills and knowledge that can be built upon in future courses.

Intermediate courses are ideal for students who have some experience in a specific medium and who are looking for direction towards progressive skill building. Prerequisite: Basic drawing and painting skills.

Try something new or build on your artistic skillset! Plan a creative date night with your significant other or with your friends, our workshops offer the opportunity to meet new instructors and participate in a workshop related to their full course offering.

Our Teen programs are designed to support young artists’ artistic growth. Each program offers the opportunity to learn and practice techniques in drawing, painting, mixed media and digital art.

Fostering creativity in childhood is essential to developing communication and language skills, problem solving abilities and improving self-esteem. Children will have fun exploring drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics and mixed media projects guided by the Elements & Principles of Art and Art History.
